John Schnell

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

John Schnell is the Chairman and CEO of CTSC AG. John has spent the past 15 years as a leader in the pharmaceuticals and medical supplies distribution industry throughout Europe. Working for each a large multinational wholesaler as well as leading his own companies, John has led pharmaceutical and medical supplies ventures in the UK, Norway, Switzerland, and France.

John spent five years as the Managing Director of a €700 million ($830 million) pharmaceuticals parallel trading vertical for Alliance Boots (now Walgreens Boots Alliance) in the UK. Through his own companies, John has facilitated the supply of pharmaceuticals and supplies to governments, non-profit institutions, multi-national corporations, and small businesses. He is recognized for his extensive experience in medical and pharmaceutical supply chains and distribution logistics.

Prior to his career in healthcare, John was a Managing Director with Europe’s largest manufacturer of vehicle trailers where he developed and managed business throughout Southwest Europe. Additionally, he led each global sales and corporate development for a leading European manufacturer of forklift trucks, developing and implementing a global development and restructuring plan across four continents.

John also spent 7 years as a Consultant with McKinsey Europe in each Germany and Belgium, where he specialized in assisting companies with business development and cost savings strategies. He has also worked for each the European Commission and the German Parliament.

A native of Florida, USA, John holds a BA in Business Administration from Texas Christian University, an MBA from Solvay (Brussels), and an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge. He resides in Switzerland with his family.

Martin Hochuli

Chief Operating Officer & Head of European Sales

Martin Hochuli is the Chief Operating Officer and Head of European Sales for CTSC AG since 2018, where he focuses on strategic sales positioning, product development, and procurement. He has contributed in recent years to the development of European markets.

A Swiss native, Martin is an experienced digital marketing expert and serial entrepreneur with a career spanning each the banking and chocolate industries. As an entrepreneur, he developed Mobile Game in 2002, and in 2008 he engineered the first top speed electro Vespa, which still runs today. Additionally, Martin founded his own digital agency for online shop development in 2012 and, since 2017, has focused his entrepreneurial efforts on developing alternative medical products and therapies. He is based in Switzerland.

Sally Liao

CEO of CTSC China/Director of Asian Operations and Supply Chain

Sally Liao is the CEO of CTSC China, as well as the Director of Asian Operations and Supply Chain. In this role, Sally facilitates all imports and exports of medical supplies and related products for the company. She oversees Asian supply chain matters, including regulatory, logistics, and operations.

Sally has over a decade of experience in the supply chain, including owning and operating ‘Salto International Ltd.’, an import and export trading company which she created in 2007. She holds a degree in Business Administration and resides in China.

Manmeet Kaur

Director of Regulatory Affairs

Manmeet Kaur is the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs for CTSC, and oversees compliance and regulatory matters on behalf of the company. During her career, Manmeet has held various positions including Regulatory Affairs Officer and Regulatory Affairs Manager for pharmaceutical companies. She also worked for the Norwegian Medicines Agency– a government agency in the pharmaceutical field focused on efficacity and safety of medicines. She holds a Pharmacy Technician degree and a Business degree and resides in Norway.

Kjell Rune Drevland

Director of European Operations and Supply Chain

Kjell Rune Drevland is the Director of European Operations and Supply Chain for CTSC. In this role, he oversees the daily operations of the company’s European activities. Kjell Rune has 25+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, during when he has held a variety of roles in multiple pharmaceuticals companies in IT, communications, and operations. He holds a Pharmacy Technician degree. Kjell Rune resides in Norway.

Odessa Cozzolino

CEO of Sales affiliate Kettle, LLC/Head of US East Coast Distribution

Odessa Cozzolino is the CEO of CTSC’s sales affiliate, Kettle LLC and the Head of US East Coast Distribution. A serial entrepreneur, she has built a wealth of knowledge, particularly in business development, marketing and sales, digital strategy, cybersecurity strategy, business maturity management, and project portfolio management. Among her most notable companies is a website focused on promoting healthy body image, which she built from the ground up. It has been featured on Jezebel, Good Morning America, Yahoo!, and Vogue, among other media outlets. Odessa is also an award-winning photographer and was the primary photographer for the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s think/able national campaign.

Darlene Celeste Austria

Director of Quality Assurance and Systems

Darlene Celeste Austria is the Director of Quality Assurance and Systems. She has 20+ years of experience in quality assurance, during which she has held progressive roles and managed teams in quality and production oversight. Darlene also holds the ability to certify and train GMP personnel. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and is based in Norway.

Kristen Laughlin

Global Business Development Advisor

Kristen Laughlin has more than a decade of experience in capital markets and global consulting spaces. She specializes in forging strategic partnerships and facilitating international investments in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, fintech, real estate, and technology. Prior to founding her firm in 2016, Kristen spent several years working in international business consulting and capital markets, before moving into private equity, where she built two global private equity funds in real estate and healthcare.

In 2018, Kristen received the prestigious Marshall Memorial Fellowship through the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMFUS). She currently serves on the Advisory Board of Impulse4Women, and is a founding committee member and vice-chair of the transatlantic Women on Corporate Boards Training Summit. Kristen graduated summa cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University with degrees in Economics, International Studies, and French.

Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and long-term care industries and is nationally recognized as extended care, aging expert and senior care advocate.

Known as the founder of Life Care Funding, where he pioneered the use of life settlements as a tool to pay for long-term care before merging his company with GWG, he is a former Washington, D.C. lobbyist who has provided legislative testimony across the country on aging, senior care, and finance issues. He is the author of two books: Help on the Way and A Survival Guide to Aging.  He is frequently an expert source cited in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s, PBS, and many other media outlets.

Elias P. Papasavvas

Elias P. Papasavvas has spent over twenty years in the fields of banking and senior healthcare, having previously founded and led for over twelve years, Elderlife Financial Services, a company that provided Point of Sale consumer financing options to seniors seeking to move into any one of over 3,500 retirement and senior living communities.  Elias has been named a “Leader in Elder Care”; has previously served on the Board of Directors of Virginia Assisted Living Association,  the Advisory Board of the American Seniors Housing Association; and the American Seniors Housing Association Chairman’s Circle.

Elias’s expertise has been sought by, and quoted in, numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, SmartMoney Magazine, Kiplingers, and many others.  He is a licensed CPA,  a Registered General Securities Representative with Series 7 & 63, holds a B.S. degree from George Mason University, and a Master’s of Science in Accounting from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife, Christine P. Bump.
